Hi, my name is Rhona, I am a student of Coder Academy Fast Track Bootcamp in Brisbane. A bit of my background first, I came to Australia in 2013 and lucky enough to have the opportunity to become a citizen in a short period of time. I lived in Airlie Beach, a beautiful town in North Queensland and I worked in a tourism company as a Reservations Supervisor for more than 7 years. Apart from my normal duties, I was also an onsite system administrator in the same company, this experience really sparked my interest to work in tech industry. In March 2021, my partner and I decided to relocate to Brisbane to start a new chapter of life and I took the chance to step out of my comfort zone and pursued my dream towards tech. I did some self-learning on HTML, CSS and JavaScript at first and these deepened my love on website development so I decided to enroll a bootcamp to fast track my learning journey.

I love to code things from scratch, enjoy the sense of accomplishment when I see the final product present in the browser. I enjoy playing around CSS as it brings out my creativity and loves the fun effects and animations you can create from that.

At my leisure, I love reading 📖, gardening 🪴, drawing 🎨 and doing small DIY projects 🔧.
